“This is Don Mephisto Augusto I Dei Cavalletti, affectionately called “Pachuchu”, or just “Mephisto”.

His royal highness has quite a personality: while loving feeding time, naps and gazing from the window, as most cats do, he has a very strong-willed and independent personality. Cuddling and petting are strictly under his conditions, when the mood strikes him and only for very limited periods.

You must respect his boundaries at all times lest he informs you, in no uncertain terms, that you have crossed a line.

Mephisto has an uncanny ability to perceive moods and shows his support by allowing us – his _parents_- extra petting time when he perceives our need for reassurance.

When Mephisto comes for cuddles we feel honored, it’s not an everyday occurrence that makes it all the more special.

He’s also an extraordinary judge of character: you would not like to be on the receiving end of one of his disapproving looks and cold shoulders. He always gets it right.

Mephisto is a 7 year old gift we treasure. We love him”.

Vi presento Don Mephisto Augusto I Dei Cavalletti, chiamato affettuosamente “Pachuchu” o Mephisto, per semplicità.

La sua altezza reale ha un carattere molto ben definito, forte e indipendente. Le coccole sono ben accette, a patto che siano sotto i suoi termini, ovvero: quando è dell’umore giusto e solo per periodi molto limitati.

Devi rispettare i suoi spazi in ogni momento altrimenti verrai informato, senza mezzi termini, che hai travalicato un confine molto labile, quello della sopportazione verso noi umani.

Non è un gatto particolarmente efusivo, le sue azioni e i suoi approcci sono misurati, pacati. Le rare volte in cui autonomamente si avvicina per farsi coccolare ci sentiamo onorati, non è un evento quotidiano, il che lo rende del tutto speciale.

Il Pachuchu possiede anche una caratteristica molto peculiare, è estremamente osservante e bravo a valutare le persone. Non si fa nessun remore a dare le spalle a ospiti non di suo gradimento. Vi assicuro che non vi piacerebbe essere il bersaglio di uno dei suoi sguardi fissi di disapprovazione!

Mefisto è un dono che oggi ha 7 anni a cui teniamo con tutto il nostro cuore. Il nostro compagno di vita assieme a suo fratello Odinn. Li amiamo.
